ILLVA SARONNO HOLDING WAS AWARDED IN THE CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT CARRIED OUT BY ECOVADIS
Illva Saronno Holding’s Corporate Sustainability journey continues through 2024 with new milestones and, most of all, important new awards: Illva Saronno Holding was awarded the BRONZE MEDAL in the Corporate Sustainability assessment carried out in 2023 by EcoVadis, an internationally recognized Sustainability Rating platform that supports companies to monitor performance in four areas of Corporate Sustainability (Environment, Labor Practices and Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement), with a view to improving the environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions of large-scale companies.
With a total score above 50/100, Illva Saronno Holding is among the top 50 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in 2023. This result is a first important achievement for Illva Saronno Holding which represents a starting point for the future, to implement new sustainable practices and to take further steps in the path of constant improvement undertaken: the Illva Sustainability Path.
To celebrate the completion of the assessment, EcoVadis will plant a tree on behalf of Illva Saronno Holding, through its partnership with One Tree Planted, nonprofit association with a mission to contribute to global reforestation, consisting of a network of partners, agencies, schools and individuals who contribute financially or by volunteering to support reforestation activities.
